Linseed is a small brown flat seed that is rich in essential oils that is popular with both wild birds and aviary birds. Linseed is high in Omega 3 fatty acids that is both valuable and essential for birds when they are moulting to help maintain their feathers.

Linseed is high in digestible protein, offers support for the immune system, has antioxidant properties and is low in starch/carbohydrate which means it is suitable for all types of equines including older horses. Grind it down with a coffee grinder prior to feeding to have it at optimal nutrition.
